My Movies of 2011 List

Here are, I think, all the movies I saw that were released in 2011.

As with my previous lists, I have tried to break them down according to how I feel about them right in this moment. It should be noted that any in the top 3 could have taken the top spot but right now my gut says it's The Muppets. Some days it's Drive. Outside the Top 10, I rank them this way: If I had to see them again, would I pay Full, Matinee, or Rental Price or would I just pass altogether?

Top 10
The Muppets

The Artist
Bridesmaids
The Descendants

I haven't seen a ton of movies this year, but I really liked most of the ones I saw, including the three I saw twice: The Help, Crazy, Stupid Love, and HP 7 Part 2. I don't see The Help popping up on many guy's lists and I wonder if it must truly be a chick movie because I thought it was possibly better than the book.

Initially I really wanted to see The Help. Then once it came out ... I didn't care anymore. I'm sure I'll catch it on DVD. Not sure why Crazy, Stupid, Love isn't on my list of movies to see because I do want to see it.

I'd recommend "Arthur Christmas," another great piece of work from Aardman. Terrific film.
